Marta Cimadevila
I am a pharmacological researcher in the team “Neuroreceptors, Dynamics and Function” at the Institute for Functional Genomics (IGF, Montpellier, France) which I joined in 2021 to unravel the mechanisms of GPCR internalization.
I obtained my PhD in 2020 in the team of Mabel Loza in the Centre for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CiMUS) in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. My work then was focused then on deciphering the ligand binding hotspots of 5-HT2A receptor in living cells. After that, I got a two-year postdoctoral grant from the Alfonso Martín Escudero Foundation to join the team of Philippe Rondard in Montpellier, where I am currently working.
