We offer a 24 months Early Post Doc position to participate on the European Biodiversa project “www.biodiversity2drugs.com” an interdisciplinary project focused on GPCR pharmacology.
Screening / Peptide Chemistry / Molecular Pharmacology / drug development
We are seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in molecular pharmacology and peptide synthesis to join our research group in Paris. This role centers on identifying novel GPCR ligands, utilizing animal venoms as natural source. Key responsibilities include screening, peptide synthesis, molecular tools, cell-based essays.
The Toxins, Receptor and Channels lab at the Department of Medicines and Technologies for Health (CEA Saclay) covers expertise in peptide synthesis, molecular pharmacology and in vivo experiments. He pioneered the exploration and exploitation of animal toxins as GPCRs ligands with the final goal of developing novel drugs.
About the Position
This research role integrates diverse methodologies, including: Screening on GPCR, Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis, characterization of peptide-receptor interactions, GPCR pharmacology and functional assays, In vivo proof-of-concept studies.
This position provides a unique opportunity to advance GPCR drug discovery, particularly in the development of toxin-based therapeutics with improved specificity and safety profiles.

Eligibility & Application Process:
